Program Description:

Mason Korea

Songdo, South Korea

Overview

Travel across the world and immerse yourself in a new culture while experiencing the ease and affordability of Mason Korea: Your home away from home.

Students at Mason Korea engage in the same curriculum and courses as Mason’s US campuses while immersing themselves in one of the world’s most intriguing and vibrant places. Explore how the country's ancient and complex past meets a modern, globalized culture. Korea is an economic miracle that is home to some of the most popular international music and television. Efficient transportation systems allow students to easily explore. The campus in Songdo is located just 45 minutes from Seoul and 30 minutes from Incheon International Airport—a hub of inexpensive flights to locations across Asia. Students at Mason Korea enjoy the smaller size of the Mason Korea campus—but still with plenty of Mason spirit—which means that Mason Korea students receive individual attention and the experience of a close-knit, international community of students and teachers. Mason Korea students might take an anthropology class on K-pop or a conflict resolution class on the North-South Korean conflict, travel to the DMZ (the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea) or explore Seoul’s royal palaces. Learn about Korean life and culture first-hand by applying to study abroad at Mason Korea today!
